Sigma Alpha Mu to host basketball \ntourney next month\nSigma Alpha Mu is holding a 3-on-3 basketball tournament at the Wildermuth basketball courts in the School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation. The tournament, scheduled for March 28 from noon to 11 p.m., costs $35 for one team of three or $100 for three teams of three. \nThe event will feature food, entertainment and prizes. All money raised will go to the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.\nStudents interested in signing up a team can visit www.indiana.edu/~sammy to download a registration flyer. IFC, Panhellenic officers travel to \nconference in Chicago\nTwenty-four Interfraternity Council and Panhellenic officers traveled to Chicago from Feb. 19-22 for the annual Mid-American Greek Council Association, a 16-state region including over 50 colleges and universities and 1,900 delegates.\nThe national conference -- the largest of its kind -- offered programs for educational development, Greek leadership and social interaction. \nSenior Sam Locke was president of the event after being elected two conferences ago. \nSeven nationally-renowned motivational speakers addressed issues surrounding the Greek community at the conference. \nAccording to a press release, Locke said in his closing remarks the most important aspect of the conference was, "it provided a chance for Greek leaders all over the nation to collaborate ideas and encourage one another on in their separate, yet similar tasks."
