College athletics will be diagnosed at 7 p.m. tonight in the Whittenberger Auditorium of the Indiana Memorial Union by Dean of Students Richard McKaig, IU men's basketball television broadcaster John Laskowski, English professor Murray Sperber and assistant athletics director Jennifer Brinegar. \nThe group will answer the questions, "What is the state of collegiate sports?," "Where are we going?" and "What are the implications for athletics?" The title of the panel is "Sellout: the state of collegiate sports."\nThe commercialization of college sports, the role of athletics on campus, the special treatment of athletes, Title IX and sportsmanship will be topics for discussion.\nThe forum is free.
