Aargh! Bucs, Raiders make Super Bowl\nSAN DIEGO -- It looks like the perfect Super Bowl matchup: Oakland's high-powered offense against Tampa Bay's stingy defense.\nFor all of Oakland's offensive playmakers, from Rich Gannon to Jerry Rice to Tim Brown to Charlie Garner, Tampa Bay can offer such defensive stalwarts as Derrick Brooks, Warren Sapp, John Lynch and Ronde Barber.\nAnd for all of Jon Gruden's success as coach of the Raiders, he never made the Super Bowl with them. He now has with the Bucs.\n"We've got a tough team coming up, Tampa Bay," said Jerry Rice, the NFL's all-time leading receiver who already has won three rings with San Francisco. "And it's going to be a little unusual facing Gruden. But this is an opportunity of a lifetime and I am just looking forward to the challenge."\nThe challenge for Oakland, which scored 71 points in two playoff victories, will be finding the end zone against Tampa's stingy defense. The Bucs, who beat Philadelphia 27-10 for the NFC championship, yielded the fewest yards and the fewest points in the league.\nCavs fire coach, hire former Hoosier\nCLEVELAND -- John Lucas couldn't make winners out of the Cleveland Cavaliers, so Keith Smart is getting a shot.\nHe's made a big one before.\nLucas was fired Monday by the Cavs, who at 8-34 have the NBA's worst record, an apathetic fan base, complacent players and an assortment of other problems.\nSmart, best known for making the game-winning jump shot for Indiana in the 1987 NCAA championship game against Syracuse, inherits the league's youngest team and all of Lucas' headaches.\nWomen's track wins two of three\nThe women's track and field team defeated Kent State and Michigan State but lost to host Michigan in their indoor season opener on Saturday.\nDespite the loss, the Hoosiers proved the depth and strength of their sprinting squad with impressive performances in the 60-, 200-, and 400-meter dashes and the 60-meter hurdles. \nIU took first through fourth place in the 60-meter dash, led by senior Rachelle Boone at 7.46. Boone then went on to win the 200-meter dash with an NCAA Provisional time of 24.31.
