Also, the Spartans upset highly ranked Georgia last season by 21 points during the regular season. This year, they retain seven letterwinners and return four starters from a team that finished second in the Big Ten in scoring defense (62.7 ppg) last season. Senior forward Syreeta Bromfield, a native of Jamaica and senior center Jennifer Callier, a native of Indianapolis, will look to lead them to the NCAA Tournament.\n"Our team has a very strong work ethic and a desire to learn," coach Joanne P.
