Paul V. McNutt lecture scheduled for tonight\nThe Fifteenth Annual Paul V. McNutt Lecture will begin at 8 p.m. today in Rawles Hall, room 100.\nThe lecture, entitled "A Consumers' Republic: The Politics of Mass Consumption in Postwar America," will be given by Lizabeth Cohen, the Howard Mumford Jones Professor of American Studies, Department of History, Harvard University. For more information, contact bryant@indiana.edu.\nDistinguished Biochemist speaking today\nThe Department of Chemistry will host Showalter Professor of Biochemistry Robert A. Harris at 4 p.m. today in Chemistry Building, room 122. Harris, a distinguished professor with the department of biochemistry and molecular biology with the Indiana School of Medicine in Indianapolis, will give a lecture entitled "Control of the Activity of the Pyruvate Dehydrogenase Complex Through Altered Expression of its Kinase and Phosphatse." \nAstronomy department lecture set for today\nThe astronomy department is hosting Luisa Rebull, who will give a lecture entitled "Science with SIRTF," at 4 p.m today. The lecture will be held in Swain West 238. \nBiology and Chemistry Career Fair scheduled\nSeveral companies representing the biology and chemistry industry, including Eli Lilly, Roche Diagnostics and Sigma Aldrich, will have booths at the Biology and Chemistry Career Fair. The fair runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today in the Jordan Hall Atrium.\n2003 Arbutus yearbook photo sittings this week\nArbutus yearbook portraits for the 2003 Arbutus are being taken in Ernie Pyle Hall, room 120 now through Oct. 11.
