IU faculty members Jeffrey Gould, professor of history and director of the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies, and Rosemary Lloyd, Rudy Professor of French, have been awarded Guggenheim Fellowships for 2002.\nThe fellowships are awarded based on the basis of distinguished past achievement and potential for future accomplishment. Gouls and Lloyd will each receive approximately $36,000 to fund research opportunities for the upcoming year.\nGPSO presents Faculty Mentor Award\nThe Graduate and Professional Student Organization named Dr. William Yarber, professor of applied health sciences, as the recipient of its first annual Faculty Mentor Award. The award was created to recognize outstanding faculty mentorship to graduate and professional students.
