Student reports armed robbery

A female IU student reported she had been robbed at knifepoint at approximately 11:45 p.m. Monday just south of the Collins Living-Learning Center Edmundson Hall dock.\nThe student said she was walking north on Park Street and saw the two suspects talking to someone in a white or light blue, 1980s-model truck parked in the Edmundson dock. The suspects then walked past her, southbound on Park Street. She reported hearing one suspect running up behind her. He allegedly asked for her money while the second suspect hid behind the dumpsters at the dock.\nThe first suspect is reported to be a black male, approximately 5-foot-10 and of medium build. He was identified as having a goatee and wearing a black stocking cap, gray hooded sweatshirt and baggy jeans and holding the knife. \nThe second suspect is reported to be a black male, approximately 5-foot-10 and of medium build, wearing a black stocking cap, black hooded sweatshirt and baggy jeans.\nIUPD asks anyone who believes they have witnessed the crime or may have information assisting investigations to contact the Investigations Section of IUPD at 855-4111 or iupd@indiana.edu.
