Students, faculty to be honored at Founders Day \nThe University will honor outstanding faculty and students March 3 at the annual Founders Day ceremony. The program will begin at 1 p.m. in Assembly Hall.\nReceiving the President's Award will be Paul D. Eisenberg, professor of philosophy on the Bloomington campus.\nThe Frederic Bachman Lieber Memorial Award, the oldest of IU teaching awards, will be presented to Catherine Larson, associate professor of Spanish and Portuguese. The Herman Frederic Lieber Memorial Award will go to Richard B. Kohler, professor of medicine and of pathology and laboratory medicine at IU-Purdue University at Indianapolis.
Outreach Kenya to host coffee hour\nOutreach Kenya Development Volunteers will host a coffee hour from 4-9 p.m. tonight at the Leo R. Dowling International Center. Bowl for Kids Sake raises funds for mentoring program\nBig Brothers Big Sisters of Monroe County is seeking volunteers and fundraisers for its largest fundraiser of the year, Bowl For Kids' Sake.\nThe IU Bowl will take place from 9 p.m. to midnight Feb. 26-27 at Suburban Lanes. The Community Bowl will take place March 2-3.\nThis year's theme is "Hoosier Hoops, Hoosier Hopes." \nInterested students should contact BBBS at 334-2828.
