Knight firing 'real world'; protesters wrong to destroy campus

To all of the "protesters" who destroyed parts of my beloved alma mater Sunday:\nConsider taking the firing of Coach Knight as a lesson in the real world. Sometimes, no matter how many signs you knock down, how loud you scream, how many fires you set or how many mobs you have behind you, things don't go your way.\nWhether you see it as fortunate or unfortunate, Knight's time had come. I will always root for the cream and crimson, but it's difficult as an alumnus to deal with the ridicule you're tagged with because of his actions. There's really no response one can make to justify that type of behavior ' no matter how many times you point out the basketball program's graduation rate, it's impossible to overcome the antics. They overshadow all.\nIU has the most beautiful campus in the country, and I enjoy returning to visit whenever I can. Some of my favorite sights on campus were attacked by your "rally" (or "rampage"). This is deplorable. Say what you will about Coach Knight, burn all your IU paraphernalia if you want, but leave my University alone.
