Supreme Court shoots down DOMA

The Supreme Court ruled section 3 of DOMA was unconstitutional Wednesday morning because the act violates the Fifth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

IU film wins Best Comedy in Hollywood

Police disarm man with crossbow

Officers observed the 52-year-old man sitting in his living room on the 1700 block of South Park Avenue with a loaded crossbow. Police made contact with him through an open door at the residence, Crider said.

Man arrested for domestic battery, confinement

Police arrested Levi Douglas, 28, after he reportedly refused to let a 24-year-old woman leave the residence Monday night, Bloomington Police Department Sgt. Joe Crider said.

Woman reports rape at mental health facility

Monday, June 24,2013 1:49 p.m.

Although the woman said she did not remember what happened during the incident, the woman claimed the rape happened while she was receiving medical treatment at the Centerstone Center for Behavioral Health.
