Hoosier track team competes at home for 1st time this spring

The IU men’s and women’s track and field squads will be back at it again this weekend, as the Hoosiers will compete at home at the Polytan Invitational at Billy Hayes Track in Bloomington. However, four Hoosiers from the men’s squad will be traveling to Princeton, N.J. to compete in the Larry Ellis Invitational as a distance medley relay group.

Spring season continues against Notre Dame for men's soccer team

After beginning its spring slate of games with a 2-1-1 record, the IU men’s soccer team will take on its second in-state opponent of the season Saturday when the Hoosiers travel to Fort Wayne to take part in the National Soccer Festival.

About 60 miles away inside the towering brick house on Third and Hawthorne in Bloomington live the Kappa Kappa Gamma cyclists who also call Naas their coach. After two years of racing in the IU Little 500 for Sigma Alpha Epsilon in the mid-1990s, Naas had run the fastest qualifications lap in Little 500 history, yet he left without a championship to his name.

Hoosiers drop pair of matches during weekend

Indiana suffered two crippling losses this weekend, with the Hoosiers being outscored by a total of 12-2 against two teams that were below them in the Big Ten standings before the weekend.
