Spring hasn’t been too kind to the IU baseball team, losers of nine straight games and 13 of its last 15. But at 4 p.m.today, the Hoosiers (15-22) will host Indiana State (11-23) in the first of 11 straight games at Sembower Field, including eight conference games.

After a visit to IU, Vincennes University sophomore Devan Dumes has made up his mind. On Tuesday at 7:00 p.m., the 6-foot-2 guard will sign his letter of intent to play for IU at the Wheeler-Dowe Boys and Girls Club in Indianapolis.

The IU women’s water polo team returned home after another tough loss to Michigan in the Collegiate Water Polo Association Western Division Championships. The top-seeded Wolverines defeated the No. 17 Hoosiers 11-3, taking first place in the tournament.
