Thigpen surprised by contract offer

Marcus Thigpen knew ESPN wasn’t going to rave over his blazing speed during last weekend’s NFL Draft coverage. He was an undersized IU wide receiver-turned-running back who stood in the shadow of Kellen Lewis and wasn’t the go-to guy in the red zone because of James Hardy’s presence.

CMCL class organizes to encourage safer, more enjoyable sex

The Department of Communication and Culture class C223: Business and Professional Communication has created a new student organization, Students Against Sexual Silence, a group that seeks to encourage safer sex and healthier sexual expression between partners.

Man forces woman to give up her underwear

A 25-year-old woman reported to police at 3:22 a.m. Saturday that she was walking on 15th and Jackson streets when she noticed a dark shadow behind her, Drake said, reading from a police report.

According to the American Religious Identification Survey released for 2008, the U.S. adult population over the age of 18 who do not consider themselves religious has increased from 8.2 percent in 1990 to 15 percent in 2008 nationally; the survey also reports the rise of the “Nones” is one of the most important trends in the American religious scene.
