Fred Glass, IU Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, announced Monday that IU men's soccer coach Mike Freitag’s contract is not to be renewed for the 2010 season. His contract expires Dec. 31.

IU's 1-0 loss ends NCAA run

An up-and-down season came to a halt for the IU men’s soccer team Sunday when it fell 1-0 to No. 5 seed North Carolina in the third round of the NCAA Tournament.

Senior Yeagle won't go out without a fight

In the last three years, Yeagle has seen all sides of the soccer ball. Two knee surgeries and a year and four months of recovery later, the senior is finally back where he belongs, scoring goals on Jerry Yeagley Field.

Men's soccer 'thankful' for NCAA Round 3

Regardless of what this soccer team gives thanks for, they will be spending Thanksgiving day together. Winning their game against Butler on Sunday afternoon, IU advanced to the third round of the NCAA tournament, where it will take on North Carolina this Sunday in Chapel Hill, N.C.

Hoosiers beat Butler 1-0

For the second straight game, the IU men's soccer team was able to avenge a regular season loss when it defeated Butler 1-0 Sunday and advanced to the third round of the NCAA Tournament.
