The E Route, abridged

It seems there’s no refuge from high gas prices, not even in public transportation. Last week, the Campus Bus Service shortened the E route, which will no longer service the College Mall area. In so doing, the service angered a sizable number of students, mostly those who live in on-campus apartments and those without private transportation.

Coming around to a Clinton vice presidency

As an ardent Obama supporter, I was hoping Clinton would concede last night. But she didn’t. And I think we all know what she’s holding out for. So let’s consider the possibility of throwing her the vice presidency.

Forced to pay

·

On April 18, a number of men denied the biological sex given to them by God and dressed up as women. This event, referred to as the “Miss Gay IU Pageant” and presented by homosexual-advocacy organizations, is clearly a celebration of the destructive sin of sodomy. The Bible, in both the Old and New Testaments, is very clear on the nature of sexuality and how God views same-sex intimacy.

GI Bill blues

Your mean-spirited treason that was the May 19 IDS staff editorial, “The GI Bill Battle,” is a slap in the face of every brave American man and woman that continues to pay the price for your freedom in some natural-resource-rich nation halfway across the globe.

The great shake-up

·

Hoosier fans will be reaching for their programs when basketball season tips off in November. Only three players – sophomore walk-on guard Brett Finkelmeier, sophomore guard Jordan Crawford and senior forward Kyle Taber – will return from the 2007-2008 team after a series of well-documented shake-ups resulted in a coaching change for the Hoosiers.
