IUSA tickets measure up

The IU Student Association elections are March 31 and April 1. Take a look at the three tickets, Btown, ONE University and Red-Hot, and their platforms.

7 women compete for Miss IU crown

As the curtains were open, seven women posed in business wear, bathing suits and formal gowns to compete in the 2009 Miss IU Pageant on Saturday.


Ludacris to perform for Little 500

Ludacris will perform  at 8:30 p.m. April 23 behind Alpha Tau Omega and Acacia fraternities during Little 500 week. The concert proceeds will benefit IU Dance Marathon, which supports the Ryan White Infectious Disease Center at Riley Children’s Hospital, said Chris Myers, junior and director of fundraising for IUDM.


Alpha Gamma Delta fans cheer their team on during Little 500 Qualifications on Saturday at Bill Armstrong Stadium. The team will roll off the grid from the ninth starting position on race day.

Phi Delta Theta, Teter claim pole positions

Phi Delta Theta qualified first for the men's Little 500 this past weekend. Teter qualified first for the women's race, recording the fastest-ever qualifying time in the history of the women's race.
