Fan-favorite Tony Kanaan won the fastest 500 in Indianapolis Motor Speedway history, capturing the 97th running of the Indianapolis 500 Sunday, his first in 12 attempts.

Scott Donley hit a walk-off single to left-center with the bases loaded to beat Nebraska 4-3 Sunday afternoon at Target Field in Minneapolis, giving IU its first Big Ten Tournament championship since 2009.
