Purdue study will measure air emissions from livestock buildings

INDIANAPOLIS – Scientists at eight universities are moving ahead with the largest study to date of air emissions at the nation’s hog, dairy and poultry farms – a project intended to improve methods for estimating a given farm’s emissions.

Russian wins harp final

But now she will be returning to Russia with a $55,000 Lyon and Healy gold concert grand harp and a first-place medal from the USA International Harp Competition. The nation’s largest Catholic archdiocese has settled its abuse cases for $660 million, by far the largest payout in the church’s sexual abuse scandal, The Associated Press has learned. The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles and the plaintiffs reached the deal Saturday, said Ray Boucher, the lead plaintiff’s attorney.
