Mini University, a weeklong academic retreat sponsored by the IU Alumni Association and IU Lifelong Learning, holds its 45th annual program June 12 to 17 on the IU Bloomington campus. The class registration deadline was Sunday at 7:30 p.m.

Testes may play key role in evolution, IU studies find

A pair of studies led by Indiana University researchers provide new evidence that when it comes to evolution, the testes may play a key role. The research, led by Kimberly Rosvall, assistant professor in the IU College of Arts and Sciences' Department of Biology, finds that the testes have a greater influence in evolution than previously thought.

Arts Fair on the Square returns this Saturday

Arts Fair on the Square returns to downtown Bloomington this Saturday, June 18. Presented by the Bloomington Playwrights Project, the 36th Annual Arts Fair on the Square will surround the Monroe County Courthouse from 10 a.m.

Rower Rebecca Brougher named All-American

Senior rower Rebecca Brougher added to her list of accolades and was named Friday to the 2016 Pocock All-American Second Team by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association. This is the fifth time in the past five years that a Hoosier rower has earned All-American honors.

IU running back's coach selected to the NCAA Champion Forum

IU coach Deland McCullough was selected as one of nine minority coaches to participate in the 2016 NCAA Champion Forum. The forum ran Monday to Wednesday in Dallas in conjunction with the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics convention.

Four Hoosier athletes earn All-American honors

Four IU athletes earned All-American honors after their performances at the NCAA Championship meet. Senior pole-vaulter Sydney Clute, sophomore 800-meter runner Daniel Kuhn, junior hammer thrower Nakel McClinton, and freshman shot putter Willie Morrison all earned All-American honors
