MANILA, Philippines – Military honor guards carried former President Corazon Aquino’s flag-draped casket to a school gym Saturday for public viewing, as Filipinos mourned the beloved democracy icon who swept away a dictator and fought off seven coup attempts.

Renters have case against city 4 years later

On July 24, the Indiana Supreme Court ruled that the City of Bloomington Utilities is liable for damages that occurred in November 2005 from a blocked public sewer line that caused 300 gallons of sewage to seep into an apartment, causing extensive damage – about $30,000 worth. Now the case can finally go to trial.

Schaffhausen, Switzerland – Fireworks filled the Swiss sky Saturday in celebration of the Swiss National Holiday. Reminiscent of Fourth of July celebrations, the Swiss holiday brought out flags, fireworks and bratwursts for grilling.

Let the youth rule

WE SAY Allowing the youth to determine whether their records are deleted is best.Every effort should be made to get into contact with the remaining 6,100 juveniles to go over their rights with their guardians. Afterward, it should be left up to them to decide whether they want to take legal action and preserve their records, or just let them be deleted.
