Zach Mayhew named Big Ten Athlete of the Week for 2nd time

IU track and field has had three home meets this season, and each has produced at least one Big Ten Athlete of the Week award for the Hoosiers. Senior Zach Mayhew is the bearer of the title this week due to his performance in the 3000m run at the Gladstein Invitational.

Women’s tennis dominates opponents without dropping a match

The No. 49 Indiana Hoosiers women’s tennis team traveled to Cincinnati on Saturday to play its first dual matches of the season against Miami (OH) and Cincinnati. The women did not lose a singles or doubles match against either team and Indiana is off to a 2-0 start in the spring season.

Penn State eyes 1st Big Ten win in rematch

IU players and coaches have been able to watch as much film of upcoming opponents as they like all season, but in preparing for today’s contest with Penn State, the Hoosiers have the benefit of firsthand experience for the first time.

Hoosiers lose season opener

The No. 22 IU men’s tennis team started off their season with a match against the No. 40 North Carolina State Wolfpack in Raleigh, N.C. Despite having an early 2-0 lead, the Hoosiers lost 4-3.
