President Obama signs kids' health insurance bill

President Obama signed a bill Wednesday extending health coverage to 4 million uninsured children, a much-needed win a day after he lost his nominee to lead his drive for sweeping health care reform.

Gallery Walk merges art, community

A free bi-monthly community event that draws attention to eight local art galleries will start at 5 p.m. Friday. Every year, Bloomington art galleries plan Gallery Walks, during which students and people of the community can view special exhibits including paintings and photography.

I’ve wanted “Beyond the Great Wall” by Jeffrey Alford and Naomi Duguid, ever since I read a blurb about it during the Olympics.
