Tents banned outside Assembly Hall

“IUPD informed us that it is an IU policy not to allow tents/camping on IU property. IUPD will notify the ‘campers’ that they are welcome to stand or sit in line for the next four days but the use of tents is prohibited," according to IU Athletics.

While I respect every group’s right to peacefully assemble and protest, the actions last Tuesday in the Kelley School of Business violated University policy, state law and the ethical commitment we have to each other as fellow students to show respect in the academic process.
