The IU Board of Trustees will convene at its regular meeting Thursday to hear reports about two contested initiatives: the merger of the School of Informatics and Computing with the School of Library and Information Science and the privatization of parking.

South Bend recently sparked controversy when anti-abortion protesters announced their intention to erect a prayer chapel next to a women’s center which also performs abortions. We suspect, although we sincerely hope we are wrong, that this new chapel will become not a sanctuary, but instead a staging ground.
