The School of Public Health is ready to help IU employees who hope to get fit in the new year. From now until May 9, access to the Wildermuth Intramural Center’s indoor track will be free to any IU faculty and staff.

IU falls to No. 3 MSU

The IU men’s basketball team (12-7, 2-4) will be kicking itself after Tuesday’s 71-66 loss to the No. 3 Michigan State Spartans. The Hoosiers led by one at halftime, and after weathering an early second half run by the Spartans, held a five point lead with 10 minutes and 37 seconds remaining in the game.

Quincy L. Clark, identified as a suspect in an armed robbery of the Taco Bell on South Walnut Street, was arrested at 2:50 p.m. Saturday in Indianapolis.

Bills to watch: Alcohol and taxes edition

S.B. 28 would make it illegal to allow underage people to consume alcohol on your property. H.B. 1001 would allow county income tax councils to eliminate the business personal property tax, which taxes a business’ equipment.
