Transfer students face 64-credit limit

Starting next year, students transferring to IU from community colleges will have to adhere to new guidelines. A limit of 64 transfer credits will be placed on those coming from two-year colleges, such as Ivy Tech Community College. PODCAST: Hoosier Headlines

Professor remembered as ‘real treasure’ by co-workers, friends

Grad students denied votes in first day of IUSA elections

Judging a book by its cover

On March 21, the Indiana Daily Student ran an article about a student and janitor at IUPUI accused of harassing his black co-workers by reading an anti-Ku Klux Klan book called “Notre Dame vs. the Klan: How the Fighting Irish Defeated the Ku Klux Klan” in front of them. The book features two burning crosses on its cover. The man, Keith J. Sampson, claims he didn’t do anything besides read the book and that he is a very racially tolerant person who was just trying to learn what the book had to say.

The IU Department of History is hosting Andrew J. Bacevich, professor of international relations at Boston University, at 8 p.m. today in the Indiana Memorial Union’s Georgian Room. Bacevich will be speaking about U.S. foreign policy after the Iraq War. Bacevich is part of the annual McNutt lecture series hosted by IU’s history department.

IU-EMS to host mock drunk-driving scenario
