After serving five nonconsecutive terms in the U.S. House of Representatives for the Indiana’s 9th District, Baron Hill, Democrat, lost to Representative-elect Todd Young, Republican, in a 53-42 percent vote.

Soccer junior named Academic All-District first team

The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced that Tyler McCarroll was named to the CoSIDA/ESPN Academic All-District first team. McCarroll’s name now appears on the national ballot for the ESPN Academic All-America team consideration.
