Scientists from Taylor University and IU's Atmospheric Science Program launch a high-altitude balloon from Dunn Meadow on Wednesday. The launch, the first of its kind in Bloomington, sent the balloon higher than Mt. Everest before it exploded, Taylor professor Don Takehara said.
