On Wednesday people gathered at City Hall to listen to a lecture over victory gardens. The victory gardens were original called war gardens to encourage families to grow their own food during the wars when there was a shortage of food. Handouts were also given to people who wanted to gain information on how to start and successfully grow their own victory garden. Stephanie Emenhiser
