Students enrolled in "Volcanoes of the Eastern Sierra Nevada: Geology and Natural Heritage of the Long Valley Caldera" are immersed in the wildlife of the eastern California mountain range on a 15 day excursion to explore major geological sites of the area. During their voyage, students toured major landmarks such as Yosemite National Park, Death Valley and White Mountain preserve, learning about environmental processes, natural landmarks and geological issues.
