Participants in the ExxonMobil Bernard Harris Summer Science Camp test the buoyancy of the rafts they constructed using two pieces of aluminium foil and four plastic straws Monday in the Frangipani Room of the Indiana Memorial Union. Campers were placed in teams of four and given five minutes of planning time and 10 minutes to build a raft that would hold as many pennies as possible without sinking.
