Kris Kazmierczak places a device called an exoskeleton on an older dog named Stella on Tuesday in a lab inside Lynn Hall of Veterinary Medicine on the campus of Purdue University in West Lafayette. The second generation exoskeleton was developed by Purdue students. It helps dogs with hip dysplasia walk more comfortably. Kazmierczak is a veterinarian technologist at Purdue.
