GALLERY: Peaceful protest ends with car aggressively driven through protesters

Protesters gathered July 6 in response to a racist attack on Monroe County human rights commissioner Vauhxx Booker that occurred July 4 near Monroe Lake. The protest had just ended when a car drove through the group as it dispersed, carrying one protester on its hood and another on the driver's side clinging to its windshield wiper.
