Willis doubtful for Saturday vs. Arkansas State

IU sophomore running back Darius Willis is doubtful for Saturday's game with a knee injury. Willis also missed last weekend's contest with Ohio State, but he did make the trip to Columbus. IU coach Bill Lynch said Willis' knee injury has been "a lingering thing" and that he also injured his groin during a practice last week. As I sit here on a Tuesday morning having had two full days to digest IU's 38-10 loss to Ohio State, I continue to wonder how this team will fare for the remainder of the season. Yes, I still feel this is a bowl team.

IU football: Who did we learn more about?

As I sit up here in the press box at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, there is one question that continues to come back to me. Did we learn more about IU or Ohio State in the Hoosiers' 38-10 loss on Saturday? My answer: Ohio State. To me, this game showed just how much better the Buckeyes are than the rest of the teams in the Big Ten, with the exception of Iowa.

Royce Waltman to join Fischer for basketball color commentary

This was reported early by some others, but now it's official: BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (Oct. 7, 2010) -Indiana University Sports Properties announced that celebrated collegiate basketball coach Royce Waltman will join Don Fischer in the broadcast booth as color commentator for the Hoosiers' 2010-2011 season.
