Senior forward Aulani Sinclair has been named an Honorable Mention All-Big Ten, the conference announced Wednesday.
Sinclair led the team in scoring with 15.9 points per game and set a number of records in the final year of her illustrious career.
With seven 3-point makes against Iowa Thursday, Sinclair set the school record for 3-pointers in a single season with 72, passing the previous mark of 70.
She became the 23rd player in program history to score 1,000 points in her career against Michigan State Jan. 20, and currently sits in 18th place on the IU all-time scoring list with 1,138 points. She is also on pace to set the record for career 3-point field goal percentage as she enters the Big Ten tournament with a career mark of 38 percent.
Sinclair scored a career-high 34 points against SIU-Edwardsville on Dec. 16, 2012. Her best Big Ten game came against the Hawkeyes Thursday, when she scored 31 on 7-of-11 shooting from downtown.
Sinclair will get a chance to add to her totals when she and her teammates take on Michigan in game four of the Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament on Thursday in Hoffman Estates, Ill. Tip-off is scheduled for 25 minutes after the completion of game three, which tips at 7 p.m. ET.
