The Hoosiers (6-2) received a vote today in the USA Today Coaches Poll.

IU was picked to win the Big Ten this season by several national media outlets as well as the Big Ten coaches, yet this is their first time they have received a vote for the top 25 in the Coaches Poll.

The Coaches Poll is composed of 31 collegiate baseball coaches who vote on the top 25 teams in the nation.

IU is the only Big Ten team to receive any votes this season in the USA Today Coaches Poll.

The cream and crimson opened up the season by taking down then No. 4 Louisville, who is ranked No. 20 in the latest installment of the poll. That win makes IU 1-0 against ranked teams this year.

IU will try to get more votes when they take on Florida, who received 20 votes in the latest Coaches Poll.
