Sophomore forward Eriq Zavaleta earned his second and third individual awards of the season this morning, College Soccer News and Top Drawer Soccer announced, respectively, Monday morning.

Wednesday night in the Hoosiers' 4-1 win against Kentucky in Lexington, Zavaleta scored twice and assisted on IU's other two goals to help the Hoosiers maintain their immaculate road record (4-0). The Westfield, Ind., native earned eight points against the Wildcats.

Saturday night, the Hoosiers improved their Big Ten record to 3-0 with a 2-0 win against Wisconsin. Zavaleta scored both goals in a game dominated IU. Zavaleta's first goal in the 11' propelled the Hoosiers to a 9-0-0 record in matches in which they take the lead, and 7-0-0 in matches in which they score first.

Zavaleta finished the week with 14 points earned. His production earned him his third honor this week and his third Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honor this season. He's earned five in his career.
