About one week ago, Ben Davis (Ind.) High School safety Antonio Allen rescinded his commitment from Ole Miss.

Thursday afternoon, the Rivals250 senior pledged to IU, joining tailback Myles Graham as the newest commitments to the Hoosiers program in the past 24 hours.

Allen is rated as the 200th best prospect in the nation according to Rivals.com, and the fourth best prospect in the state of Indiana. Compared to ESPN's recruiting service, his pedigree remains consistent as a four-star prospect in the nation's top 20 for his position.

During his junior year of high school, Allen led his team with 93 tackles, with 72 of them marked as solo tackles. He also led the Giants with six pass breakups on the season.

Should he sign his Letter of Intent to play at IU, Allen would become the highest rated prospect to play for the Hoosiers since at least 2002.

He chose the Hoosiers over multiple scholarship offers from Big Ten and SEC programs, including Kentucky, Michigan State, Iowa, Purdue and Illinois.
