Three IU recruits will take part in the All-American Championships down in New Orleans during Final Four weekend.
Point guard Kevin "Yogi" Ferrell and forwards Jeremy Hollowell and Hanner Perea will play for the North team on April 1 at 3:00 p.m. at Lakefront Arena.
The North team has 10 players on it with nine of those heading to Big Ten schools. Along with the three IU signees, Ronnie Johnson (Purdue) and Glenn Robinson (Michigan) round out the five players from the state of Indiana on the team.
A total of four teams consisting of 38 players were chosen for the event.
Ferrell and Hollowell will both play in their respective sectional semi-finals this Friday evening. Perea's La Lumiere High School is not eligible for the IHSAA Tournament.
