For the fourth straight week, the IU men's basketball team fell in the USA Today/ESPN coaches rankings, dropping to No. 23 in both polls.

While IU's national stock dropped in the minds of some, it didn't drop in the minds of all. The Hoosiers actually moved up in ESPN.com's Joe Lunardi's latest Bracketology, where IU moved up to a No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Lunardi pegged the 4th-seeded Hoosiers to take on Iona in Portland, Ore. in the first round. IU was one of eight Big Ten teams that cracked the field on the mock bracket. IU has posted a 7-5 record against the teams in the field with the only other loss coming at Nebraska on Jan. 18.

The variation in IU's stock comes after an up and down week. IU suffered a 68-56 loss at Michigan last Wednesday but also snapped a five-game losing streak against Purdue in a 78-61 win in West Lafayette on Saturday night.

After four games in ten games, IU will play just twice in the next 13 days. IU will take on Illinois at 8 p.m. Thursday night at Assembly Hall in Bloomington.
