IU Coach Kevin Wilson and his staff added Modesto, Calif. quarterback Nathan Sudfeld to the Hoosiers' 2012 recruiting class after a Wednesday night in-home visit.
Rivals.com rates the 6-5, 215-pound pro-style passer as a three-star recruit. He originally committed to Arizona, but decommitted Jan. 5 to explore other options.
He received interest from Iowa, USC, Arkansas and UCLA. He visited UCLA on Jan. 20. His senior season included:
2,390 passing yards
.539 completion percentage
29 touchdowns
Nine interceptions
Sudfeld is the 24th member of the 2012 recruiting class and the second quarterback. Junior college dual-threat quarterback Cameron Coffman committed to IU on Jan. 12. He played at Arizona Western Community College in 2011.
