IU jumped a few more spots in this weeks polls, climbing to No. 13 in the AP and to No. 15 in the Coaches'.

The bump in the rankings came after a couple of blowout wins at home. IU rolled over Howard 107-50 on Monday night and beat the University of Maryland, Baltimore County 89-47 on Thursday night at Assembly Hall.

The rankings are IU's highest in both polls since Feb. 25, 2008 after the Hoosiers were ranked No. 12 coming off a home win against No. 14 Purdue and a win at Northwestern.

IU's 12 wins on the season already matched last season's total, which was also the most wins in the Tom Crean era. Currently, IU is one of six programs that are still undefeated and are the only Big Ten team to remain unblemished.

In both polls, the Hoosiers are ranked behind Ohio State and Wisconsin but remain higher in the polls than fellow Big Ten ranked squads Michigan and Michigan State.

IU will get its first major road test of the season on Wednesday night at No. 17 Michigan State to kick off the Big Ten season. The Big Ten opener begins a stretch of three straight ranked foes for IU to start off conference play.
