Here is a brief run down of Kentucky's 8-0 start to the season. Kentucky is led by its core of three freshman, two sophomores and senior Darius Miller off the bench.
Occasionally, freshman Kyle Wiltjer and senior Eloy Vargras provide some frontcourt depth but those six played 189 of 200 minutes on Saturday against North Carolina.

November 11: Kentucky 108 Marist 58
While leading returning scorer Terrence Jones came off the bench due to being involved in a late night car accident, freshman Anthony Davis carried the way with 23 points and 10 rebounds.
Davis was 10-of-13 from the field with eight of those field goals being dunks.
The Wildcats struggled in the first 20 minutes before breaking open an 11-point halftime lead in the second half.
Kentucky's four McDonald's All-Americans all scored at least 14 points and combined for 68 of the Wildcats 108 points.
November 15: Kentucky 75 Kansas 65
Playing at Madison Garden, the Wildcats once again turned it up a notch in the second half.
Kentucky's starting five was extremely balanced with all five players scoring between 12 and 17 points. Senior Darius Miller provided the only bench scoring with five points.
Anthony Davis backed up his double-double in game one with seven blocks against the Jayhawks.
The Wildcats were able to overcome 19 turnovers including six from freshman guard Marquis Teague.
November 19: Kentucky 85 Penn State 47
Heading back out to the East Coast with a neutral site game in Connecticut, the Wildcats were led by sophomore guard Doron Lamb's 26 points of 8-of-13 shooting.
Anthony Davis was held to three points against Penn State but it was the defense of Kentucky that made the difference.
They held the Nittany Lions without a field goal during an 11 \0xBD minute stretch during the first half. Penn State shot 27 percent from the field and were 1-of-15 from three-point range in the opening 20 minutes.
Freshman forward Kyle Wiltjer came off the bench to score 19 points.
November 20: Kentucky 62 Old Dominion 52
When people think of Kentucky the freshman and sophomore classes receive almost all the attention but it was the play of the senior Darius Miller and his 13 points off the bench that kept the Wildcats undefeated.
Perennial one of the top teams in the Colonial Athletic Conference, ODU trailed 50-49 with seven minutes remaining before Kentucky finished the game on a 12-1 run.
ODU's zone defense gave Kentucky fits and Marquis Teague once again struggled with six turnovers.
The game was again played in Connecticut and is the last game the Wildcats have played away from Lexington.
November 23: Kentucky 88 Radford 40
Imposing its will on the defensive end of the floor, Kentucky forced eight turnovers while Radford missed its first 12 shots before finally scoring halfway through the first half.
The Wildcats once again found balance in their starting lineup with a five players in double figures.
Terrence Jones led the way with 17 points and eight rebounds. Marquis Teague had 13 points to go along with fives assists and two turnovers.
November 26: Kentucky 87 Portland 63
The Pilots hung around until the second half before Kentucky broke up a six-point game thanks to a full-court press.
Marquis Teague played his best game of his young career with 14 points, eight assists and zero turnovers in 34 minutes.
Terrence Jones led the Wildcats with 19 points and Miller chipped in 19 of his own off the bench.
Kentucky finished the game with 20 assists and four turnovers.
December 1: Kentucky 81 St. John's 59
It was the Anthony Davis show for the Wildcats as the freshman had 15 points and 15 rebounds last Thursday. Davis also had eight of Kentucky's school-record 18 block shots.
Terrence Jones scored a season-high 26 points on 7-of-12 shooting including 11-of-16 from the free throw line.
The win marked the seventh straight double-digit win to start to the season.
December 3: Kentucky 73 North Carolina 72
In the most anticipated game of the young college basketball season, the Wildcats and Tar Heels went down to the game's final possession.
UNC hit 11 three-pointers to keep them in it but after Marquis Teague missed the front end of a one-and-one late in the game, Anthony Davis blocked John Henson's potential game winner in the final seconds.
Kentucky once again leaned on their core six to score 71 of their 73 points. Freshman Micahel Kidd-Gilchrist led the way with 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Marquis Teague only had one turnover in 30 minutes
