Senior goalkeeper Lindsay Campbell said today that the goal Michigan State scored on a free kick with two seconds remaining Sunday was "devastating."

"We controlled the whole game," she said. "It was the last two seconds. It was Senior Day. All those combined, it is going to be hard to move on. But as a team, we had to move on. Next day, you got to forget about it."

Their loss Friday night in St. Paul - their seventh in conference play, a 3-1 defeat against the Minnesota Golden Gophers - has nearly eliminated them from Big Ten tournament contention.

The Hoosiers can finish with a maximum of 12 points. In order for that to come to fruition, they need to win their next two matches: Sunday in Madison against the Wisconsin Badgers and Sunday the 30th in Columbus to double their point total from six to twelve.

Nebraska, a team IU defeated 2-1 on Sept. 25, currently has 12 points.

IU needs Nebraska to lose both of their final two matches - a home match against Illinois Sunday and a road match against Minnesota on Friday the 28th - to have any opportunity to utilize a tiebreaker scenario.

If Nebraska earns even a draw in one of two matches, they'll earn one point ... and eliminate the opportunity for the Hoosiers' six seniors - goalkeeper Lindsay Campbell, forward Carly Samp, defender Kerri Krawczak, defender Kirsta Kellin, midfielder Devon Beach and midfielder Kaylin Clow - to suit up for a postseason match in their IU careers.
