IU assistant coach Steve McClain and sophomore guard Jordan Hulls spoke to the media this afternoon about their matchup against Michigan in Ann Arbor tomorrow.
Here's the full audio from McClain and Hulls.
A few main points to take away:
- IU sophomore forward Christian Watford's status is still up in the air. IU coach Tom Crean said last week that Watford - who broke a bone in his left hand against Michigan State a couple of weeks ago - could come back against Michigan but it is a long shot.
McClain and Hulls were asked about Watford's status and they both said they had no idea if he was going to play against the Wolverines.
- McClain said Michigan is explosive offensively because it "puts four shooters on the floor almost all the time."
- Hulls on his health right now (apparent cold): "The doctors are doing the best that they can and I'm just playing through it. We'll see how it goes. I just got to play through it."
- Hulls said Michigan is a lot better team than the last time they played them. "Their big guys are playing a lot better. (Jordan) Morgan is playing really well recently. We just got to play better defense, and that will lead into our offense"
