The IU men's basketball team will round out its exhibition schedule at 7 p.m. Monday night when the Hoosiers battle with the Ferris State Bulldogs at Assembly Hall. Here are some of the top things you need to know before the matchup:
- Ferris State, out of Big Rapids, Mich., have won 10 or more games in eight consecutive seasons under head coach Bill Sall. The Bulldogs return eight upperclassmen to their roster from a 16-13 team last season.
- Forward Justin Keenan was chosen as the Division-II Preseason National Player of the Year. He averaged 20.1 points and 6.9 rebounds per game last season, shooting better than 50 percent from the field.
- Ferris State last played a Big Ten team in 2007, when the Bulldogs squared off in an exhibition match with the Michigan Wolverines. FSU lost the game 70-48 at Crisler Arena.
- The Bulldogs' last win against a Division-I program was in the 2000-01 season against Oakland, taking that decision 75-50.
