For those of you who called me out at the beginning of the season after I guaranteed an IU bowl game, your time to gloat is getting close.

It's not here yet, however.

My preseason predictions included wins over Towson, Western Kentucky, Akron, Arkansas State, Illinois and Northwestern. So I was four out of six.

While a bowl game has all but been ruled out, the Hoosiers still have two winnable games at the end of their schedule: vs. Penn State in Landover, Mary. and at Purdue. They still may not make it to a bowl game at 6-6, but Bill Lynch would most definitely keep his job if IU wins two more games.

If you want to see IU Athletics Director Fred Glass fire Lynch -- which is a long shot by the way -- you better hope the Hoosiers lose their last four games and go 0-8 in the Big Ten. Could that happen? Absolutely.

But, with four games remaining, I see IU winning one more game -- probably at Purdue in the season finale -- and Lynch keeping his job.

What are your thoughts? Can IU win again this season? Should Lynch stay or go?
