USC UPDATE: The USC football team will be unable to participate in the 2010 and 2011 postseasons, and will vacate all wins that former RB Reggie Bush was involved in (beginning in Dec '04), including the 2004 championship. The team will lose 10 scholarships/year for the next 3 seasons.

UPDATE: Colorado has officially joined the Pac-10, becoming the first of many potential teams to join a new conference

Currently, there are several news reports about schools jumping ship and heading to the Pac-10. However, one that does seem to be certain, is Colorado will be heading to the Pac-10, as ESPN is reporting that the move is now official. A formal announcement will be made today at 12pm ET.

Football-stronghold USC will also be facing a 2-year postseason ban, sources are reporting. It has also been mentioned that they will lose 20 scholarships, and potentially will forfeit their 2004 National Championship win, as well as wins from the 2004 season, and potentially more.

Also, it is reported that fellow Big Ten basketball coach, MSU's Tom Izzo, is meeting with the Cleveland Cavaliers today in regards to their open head coaching job. ESPN is reporting that Izzo is leaning toward leaving Michigan State.
