The IU women's tennis team opened their final weekend of the regular season with a 5-2 win over Michigan State.
The Hoosiers took the opening doubles point despite a loss by their ranked team of senior captain Lindsey Stuckey and sophomore Evgeniya Vertesheva at No. 1 doubles. They followed up by taking four of the six singles matches including a straight set 6-2, 6-1 win by freshman Leslie Hureau at No. 2 singles.
The Hoosiers close out the regular season tomorrow against Michigan, who is ranked No. 4 nationally and undefeated in the Big Ten. The match begins at 11 a.m. Stay tuned to Hoosier Hype for updates, and see Monday's IDS for a full recap of the team's weekend.
