2005 IU graduate and Evansville, Ind., native Jeff Overton tied his best finish of his PGA Tour career on Sunday when he finished as runner-up at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.

Overton's four day total of 16-under par 272 (67, 69, 70, 66) put him two shots behind the champion Jason Bohn.

Bohn and Overton were locked up in a back nine duel on Sunday before Bohn birdied three of his last four holes to take the lead for good.

The 2010 season has been an up and down one for Overton with him making only 6 of 11 cuts but the runner-up finish this weekend moved him up to 41st place in the FedEx Cup Standings
